Nicole Sutherland

Matron of Honour

Amanda met Nicole in 2015, early on in their nursing careers where they worked at a nursing home. Their friendship grew stronger several years later when Nicole started working at the hospital in their current department. What started as a gym partner, quickly grew into a forever kind of friendship. Nicole has seen Amanda through all of her adult heartbreak, growth and has always been her best cheerleader. Amanda adores being an Aunt to Nicole’s son Hudson and their endless conversations over wine. Amanda couldn’t picture her day without Nicole, and she is already exceeding expectations in her Matron of Honour role.

Amanda Wiepjes

Maid of Honour

The Amandas have a special bond, twinning at almost everything in life. They share nicknames, the same job, a love for golf and are even getting married in the same year. Amanda has also taken on a vital role in the bride’s support system and has always been down for any adventure the bride has thrown her way! This work friendship turned into real life besties is treasured dearly by the bride. We are sure everyone will find her positive energy quite infectious when they get to meet her!

Sarah Hiepleh

Master of Ceremonies

Sarah, always referred to as “Hip” or “Hipper” by the bride is one of Amanda’s longest friends. They met in kindergarten at the age of 4. Sarah is one of the kindest people Amanda knows and her contagious laugh and comforting presence is unmatched. When choosing her MC, Amanda knew for many reasons that it would absolutely be Hip. Not only is she hilarious, but she also probably knows a little too much about the bride (You’re welcome in advance).

Lauren Grant

Master of Ceremonies

Amanda and Lauren also met at the same nursing home as Amanda and Nicole back in 2014. The two have shared 10 years of laughs, dancing, games and tough times as well. Lauren is like a big sister to Amanda and their friendship has superseded anything life has thrown at it. Amanda was also in Lauren’s wedding party, so she can’t wait to experience this role reversal by having Lauren in hers!

Randi-Jo Francis

Grooms-woman

Randi-Jo is my little sister, and she is very kindhearted, funny, and helpful. I use the word little even though she’s almost 30, and a Doctor. Randi-Jo has been in my life for 29 years strong and we argued a lot as some siblings do for the first few years. However, she eventually proved to me that it wasn’t so bad to have a little sister follow me around always wanting to hang out with me and my friends. We started to get along and have created many great memories together that I will cherish forever.

Additionally, Randi-Jo has welcomed Amanda into our family with open arms, and they get along so well that at times they unintentionally dress in the same outfits. It's only fitting that the photo I have is of them as they seem to like each other more than me.

Megan Woods

Stylist

Honourable mention for our dear friend Megan who has been Amanda’s go to for everything style related. Not only did she choose Amanda’s wedding dress without knowing, she also saved the day by doing Amanda's hair after a scheduling mishap before the couple's engagement photos. Her support and expertise during this time has been invaluable.
